So I realized that it has almost been a year since I last updated, and I thought that maybe I should just stop using xanga, but I figured that I should at least give it one more try.  So I figure that I should at least update you all on what has happened in the past year because it has been pretty crazy.
Well shortly after my last post, I got engaged to the wonderful Nathan, I was so excited!!!
In May 07 I graduated from college, a bitter sweet moment...I was ready to move on but did not have a job yet, so i was stressed.
I spent my summer working at Barnes & Noble, planning a wedding...and looking for another job, it was pretty intense.
I found one job teaching math near the end of June, so Nathan and I started planning our future to be in Longview
But then another job came along that involved coaching, so I decided to take that one instead, so this means more apartment hunting in less amount of time before the big day...August 4th
Well luckily Nathan was able to find a job too, teaching Math at a school 45 minutes away, but we are making it work.
Thankfully we find an apartment on the day I signed my contract, and we were able to move our stuff into our new home on August 2, then we got ready for the big day.
August 4....the most wonderful day ever....I became Nathan's wife!!!
We had one week before we had to start our real world jobs, so we took our honeymoon in Gatlinberg, Tennessee.  Where we got away from everything, and just enjoyed the smoking mountains, it was a wonderful way to end our crazy summer.
We get back to our new home a week later and then we started our jobs that Monday.
Ever since then we have been having a blast...we love our jobs, and we are sort of getting used to our new home.  The school year has gone pretty smoothly, and I love the people that I work with.
I lost my Aunt right before Christmas, so I have basically lived through one of my biggest fears, I miss her dearly, but at least know the fear of that one phone call can never haunt me again, and I know that she is in a better and happier place, and that is comforting.
Due to the previous event, Christmas got off to a poor start, but I got to spend it with Nathan's family and that was a lot fun to really spend a good amount of time with them.  It was different being away from home, but I still enjoyed it.
Well that pretty much brings me to the present day, so I guess I will leave you at that.  It has been awhile since i've seen some of you, and if you took the time to read this long post, I am definitly interested in how life is treating you, and even if you didn't read the post i'm still interested, but you just won't know that since you didn't read it.

Yey for two-a-days not being too terribly bad...I'm really sore, but it is a good sore.   I'm still trying to get used to having so many girls on the team.  We got nine new girls on the team which brings our total to 20, yeah we could be a freaking softball or soccer team, and to just remind you, there are only 6 girls on the court at a time.  But I really like all of the new girls, and I'm still trying to get to know them better, but it is hard with so many.  Well that is all for now, Bye Bye.

So....Man!!!! My senior year is about to start, and it is starting to freak me out.  I'm totally excited about it, but it also makes me sad because it is going to be my last year of college, my last year to avoid the real world, and my last year of competitive volleyball (and I don't know if I'm ready for city league).  But right now I just pray that I will make the most of it and to enjoy the journey that God has planned for me.

And then there is the issue of after graduating.....Oh Man!!!  This again is something that is bittersweet, because I sort of enjoy the idea of being able to go somewhere and do something different and to start a new chapter in my life...but it is also another worry for me because I'm not too sure on where that somewhere is going to be.  Am I going to go to grad school, and what am I going to get my masters in?  Or am I going to straight into teaching, and where am I going to do that....Texas....Arkansas....hmmm?

Well right now I think that I am just going to jam to Jack Johnson, and relax to his wonderful melodies, and pretend that I'm living it up on the beach with no worries...hmm...life is good, beach or no beach...haha
